Smith RNR the Captain of the Titanic to the front of the postcard with the music score and lyrics to Nearer My Go To Thee with the caption that reads: “Hymn played by the Bandsmen of the S.S. “Titanic” as she sank to her doom, 15th April, 1912.”
The front of the postcard has a black border to denote that this is a mourning postcard for the passengers and crew of the Titanic who lost their lives in 1912. This vintage Titanic postcard dates from circa 1912 and is in Very Good condition with light edge wear and light browning to the front of the postcard and to the back of the postcard.
