Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs An Authorised Book of the Walt Disney Film, not dated but circa 1938, is for sale. This highly collectable first edition book was published in London by Collins and measures a very large 9¾ x 13 inches (approximately). This fantastic Walt Disney book is packed with large colour and black and white illustrations from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, which was the first full-length cel animated feature in motion picture history.
The original binding features a great illustration of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs to the front board taken from the animation film. The binding is in Very Good condition with a chip to the bottom edge, edge wear, corner knocks, marks to the back board and fading of the red cloth spine.
There are 79 large numbered pages that are in overall Very Good condition with all pages present and firmly bound-in, but with cracks to top internal hinge that is cosmetic and not structural; a small closed tear to the bottom margin of page 14 with no loss of paper; and only very occasional and very light marks. The pages are overall very clean and the images still very bright.
This is a highly attractive and desirable Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs book from the time of the release of this super classic Walt Disney film.
