The original red binding with black lettering to the spine is in Very Good condition being extremely clean but with fading to the spine and slight knocks to the top and bottom of the spine.
There are 191 numbered pages which has plain white endpapers to the front and rear of the book, the Half Title Page, the Dedication Page, the Title Page, illustration of the Abernethie Family Tree, and the date of 1953 unusually to the last page of the book.
The pages are clean and in overall Very Good condition with slight browning to the endpapers which is usual for this book.
