The contemporary binding has marbled front and back boards with burgundy leather spine and corners, with gilt letting to the spine. The binding is in Very Good condition with wear to the leather. This is a very attractive binding; please see the photographs.
There are 423 numbered pages, all edges burgundy, that are in overall Very Good condition being exceptionally clean and the large black and white illustrations very attractive and would make a great addition to any Charles Dickens book collection.
